Prof François Vellas, AIUTA President, did a lecture at SUAD Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi last November 7th, 2018, had meeting with Prof Silvia Castillo, head of LEA at PSUD and met Minister of State Zaki Nusseibeh.

Prof Castillo came to Mauritius International Conference and spoke on the situation of elderly and life long learning in the EMIRATES. Dr Castillo will have a working meeting next January 7th, 2019 with Minister of State Zaki and his administration to establish in Abu Dhabi the first U3A in the Gulf Region in cooperation with AIUTA. U3A Abu Dhabi with Prof Castillo will be invited to next 104e AIUTA GB and will participate to next AIUTA/CAUA Wuhan International Conference.  This new programme will include development of Senior Study Tours in the EMIRATES to be presented to next WSTC 2019 in Yantai.
