AIUTA President, François Vellas and AIUTA Deputy Secretary General Carlos Santos on invitation Antonio Abreu, UNESCO Chair, visited Porto Santo U3A in Porto Santo on February 7th, 2022 and had discussion with director and senior students on February 7th. AIUTA delegates had a meeting with Mayor of Porto Santo, Nuno Filipe Melim Batista and Roberto Silva, Regional Madeira Government Delegate in Porto Santo island on AIUTA International cooperation program on U3As, Senior Tourism and Islands. Porto Santo U3A with Porto Santo authorities will host the first AIUTA international meeting with participation from the Indian Ocean, Pacific, Caribbean and South America.
