Prof François Vellas, AIUTA President, did a presentation on « New challenges for U3As development » to Ageing 2022 Congress participants on May 27th in Pombal, Leira Polytechnic University, Portugal. Prof Ricardo Pocinho organised a global session on « Life long learning and U3As » with presentations from Brazil, Spain, CapoVerde and several Portuguese regions. Montse Amoros, President U3A Alto Palancia did a presentation on U3A development in rural areas. Ageing 2022 Congress and Leira University with Ricardo Pocinho and his team will cooperate with AIUTA to develop new tools to U3As development to reach the expectations of seniors.
