Richard Peoples, Chair U3A Edinburgh invited AIUTA Secretary General Maria Chester to a working lunch in Edinburgh, September 15th. Edinburgh U3A is the largest of Scotland with 2.310 senior students with 190 groups on lifelong learning topics. Maria Chester could inform Edinburgh participants on AIUTA education and research programs. Chair of Island of Arran U3A, Karyn Hill came to Edinburgh to participate to this meeting and could exchange information on the new AIUTA INSULA international cooperation program on islands U3As. AIUTA will cooperate closely with Edinburgh U3A and all U3As from Scotland.
