Prof Artur Horbovvy, President CLEPSYDRA, Ukrainian National U3As Association, and Vice President CLEPSYDRA, Alina Khaletskaya had an online meeting with President AIUTA, François Vellas, 1st September 2023. Participants analyse the U3As situation in Ukraine and the AIUTA U3As ways to support CLEPSYDRA initiative to help seniors. AIUTA and CLEPSYDRA will work together on three main fields : 1) AIUTA will provide contents to prepare an analysis on the most important requirements from the 500.000 olders refugies part of the 3.5 million internal refugees. CLEPSYDRA will work to provide new U3As initiatives dedicated to Military Veterans and older parents relatives 2) AIUTA will support exhibition on ruin cities in Eastern Ukraine with testimony from older persons and will prepare jointly with CLEPSYDRA a book on the history of ukrainian ruin cities. 3) AIUTA will organise with CLEPSYDRA an online international training course on creating and managing U3As dedicated to municipalities, public institutions and older students. This seminar is scheduled next october 19th, 2023.
