At the 140th International Conference of the University of Tomsk, Thursday 6th September 2018, Professor François Vellas, President of AIUTA presented the experience of the AIUTA for the promotion and development of the universities of old age in the world.

During this working session Elena Novikova, Director of Tomsk U3A in Siberia (Russian Federation) presented the achievements of the Third Age University of Tomsk and invited to discuss the official representatives of the Region and the City next to the director of the Russian pension fund.

As a result of the debates, the search for a fourth way of developing the universities of the third age based on the strong support of the institutions alongside the universities and in liaison with the communities was discussed as the Russian way of developing the universities of the third age.
