On Wednesday, September 5, 2018, Prof. François Vellas, President of AIUTA, participated in the invitation of Mrs. Elena Novikova, Director of Tomsk U3A in Siberia (Russian Federation) at the 140th Anniversary Ceremonies of the University from Tomsk.

During this commemoration, the Rector of the University insisted on the importance of opening universities to meet all the needs of society by moving universities from the traditional academic era to an era of openness and of intergenerational exchanges what the U3A represents.
