On Friday, October 12, the First Vice President of the AIUTA, Li Yuanhe Director of the University of the Third Age of Canton and Mr. Wang the Director of the Office of International Liaisons of the Chinese Association of the Universities of the Third Age received the President of the AIUTA, François Vellas, in the new facilities of the premises of the international department of CAUA. The international department occupies the entire one-storey building of the U3A Canton with offices, showrooms and even a beautiful outdoor patio.

The meetings focused on the preparation of the 104th AIUTA Board of Directors and the International Conference on New Silk Roads and Universities of the Third Age to be held in WUHAN, China, on 20-22 May 2018, which will be followed by the 2nd WSTC (World Congress of Tourism Seniors) in Yantaï on 23-26 May 2018.
