On invitation Andres Perez Pereira Lapido, President UNI 3 Uruguay, Prof François Vellas, AIUTA President spoke on « AIUTA international U3As cooperation » at the Opening New Academic UNI 3 Uruguay ceremony in Montevideo, March 10th, 2025. Montserrat Amoros, AIUTA Secretary General sent an online message to participants from Barcelona. UNI 3 Uruguay put together more than 1.700 senior students with 27 office all over the country. UNI 3 Uruguay is the headquarter of the Latin America UNI 3 network and will organize the next regional meeting in Bogota, Colombia, October 2026. UNI 3 Uruguay Governing Board will work with AIUTA on dissemination of lifelong learning programs in Latin America and will participate in AIUTA international research programs.
