Participants from Asia with delegates from Europe, America, Australia and Africa came to Hong Kong Metropolitan University, School of Professional and Continuing Education, to participate in the AIUTA ASIA International Conference on « Lifelong Learning for Older Education » April 1st 2025. Prof Paul Lam Kwan-sing, President HKMU welcomed delegates and spoke on Elder Academy goals operated by the Li Ka Shi School of Professional and Continuing Education to develop lifelong learning in Hong Kong and Asia. Prof François Vellas, President AIUTA expressed AIUTA U3As thanks to Metropolitan University Hong Kong and did a presentation on U3As international cooperation in the Asia Pacific region and worldwide. Hong Kong Metropolitan University will play a key role with AIUTA support on developing lifelong learning to older persons in Asia.
